Yellow field under a cumulaic sky, and onto Vacherauville – Saturday 26th July 2009
The journey through France and into Switzerland was stunning, taking only the country roads all the way.
- Vacherauville!
- Awesome skies above Vacherauville
- Rafting on a passing
- Lake Geneva and Switzerland
Setting off from grey coastlines … Friday 25th July 2009
Well the day has finally come for the trip to the paragliding course in Verbier, Switzerland. In the morning of Friday, I passed my car driving test, so set off into the grey underbelly of Blighty with an incredibly good mood at about 11:30am. The port of Dover, and much holiday traffic awaited me.
- A rainy start from England

Just thought i’d put this up for a bit of fun.
If you like biking then you’ll love this road trip a friend and I did to the French Pyrenees back in September 2007. We rode some 2000 miles and saw some really interesting sights, and ate some wonderful French and Andorran food. The beer and wine was wonderful, as you’ll see.
Our trip plan was to ride South from Rouen, down into Perpignan on the Mediterranean coast, then head due West along the Pyrenean mountain chain until we reached Biarritz, the Spanish border and the wild blue and white surf of the Atlantic; somewhere I will return one day as it is stunning! The Pyrenees appeared to be quiet, magical and almost around ever corner we found something interesting going on, much of which I didn’t get the time to get on camera!
We thoroughly enjoyed this fun road trip, which i’d recommend to anyone.
